About

Phase Group has significant experience in the vendor selection process; particularly in Asia. We have an impressive record of vendor qualification audits performed in a number industrial disciplines ranging from basic driver and component level vendors to high end electronics and integrated manufacturers of AV receivers and PC / hard drive based audio devices. We couple that with equally extensive experience related to high end automation and robotics as well as the trend for human resources auditing to deliver accurate and reliable vendor audit services in Asia and beyond.

  • Human Rights Assessment Audits / Surveillance – Including assessment of overall working conditions, child or forced labor assessments.

  •         Human Rights auditing and surveillance can be an emotionally charged topic for many. We consider this to be one of the most important and often overlooked aspects of the vendor selection process. We encourage all companies to take a firm stance on human rights, child and forced labor as well as workplace safety. Those of you who have visited Asia have likely observed workplace conditions that you were uncomfortable with. We can provide you with a means to have a positive impact on the lives of the workers and their families by helping you select and support those vendors who are taking a positive role in supporting human rights development.

Phase staff can conduct the workplace audit as a representative of your company or we can perform the audit anonymously as a means of identity protection for your company.

Even if you are not a client or customer of Phase Group, we urge you and your company to adopt and enforce tough standards on vendors who demonstrate poor support of human rights and workplace safety. Let your current vendors know that you expect them to make progress every year and do not award new business to vendors who have clearly substandard human rights policies. Most importantly, let the vendors know why your company is taking a stand – they are losing business and revenue because of their substandard human rights policies. Together, we can make a difference in many, many lives.
