Pro 160
The Pro 160 is our entry level, single action adhesive dispense system designed for high speed, moderate resolution applications such as assembly of secondary or non-critical parts. Turntable based with an effective diameter from 1" to 6” with a 160mm actuator stroke length. Standard features include digital cycle timers, analog turntable speed control; 304 stainless turntable and high speed actuation system. Aluminum frame and panels for a paint free workplace. Fully rebuild able actuation systems using premium quality imported bearings and shafts. Not available in AAC or HMI versions. Note: While this is our entry level system, the dispense shot weight and turntable linear velocity controls easily deliver better control and stability than analog dispense controllers from EFD or Loctite. This machine is not a low end toy by any means. Most dispense equipment will struggle to deliver a Cpk of 0.75, Phase Automation guarantees an adhesive dispense Cpk of 1.66 or greater with a properly setup Pro 160 using a quality dispense valve.

Pro 1385-S
The robust Pro 1385-S is a single action adhesive dispense machine designed to handle 3" to 15" diameter speakers. The actuator stroke length is 160mm and the machine comes standard with premium quality digital timers and controls as well as digital turntable speed control. The precision ground 316 stainless steel turntable is an accurate, repeatable mounting platform for your manufacturing jigs and fixtures. The machine base is made from 20mm thick 6061 aluminum and fully CNC’d for precision and reliability. Backbone and backpanels are also made from 6061 aluminum, 14mm and 10mm thick respectively. The backbones and back panels are combined with the base to form a very robust monocoque chassis which doubles as the enclosure for the controls, drive motor and power supply. Convenient carrying handles are built into the base as is a 316 stainless steel wear plate covering the area around the turntable. The turntable itself is driven by a high power frequent start motor via a Gilmer belt and pulley system. This feature delivers rapid starts, consistent turntable speeds and reliable linear velocity at the adhesive beadline. The actuator carriage rides on a pair of precision bearing
shafts with four individual bearings for improved stability. All bearing shaft and slide bearing sets are premium quality for long life, but fully serviceable should the need arise. Dispense controls on the Pro 1385-S are based on precision timers and valves and are proven to deliver Cpk numbers above 2.3 when properly setup and used with a high quality dispense valve.

Pro 1385-Plus
The Pro 1385-Plus has all the construction features of the 1385-S, but steps up to digital control via PLC (Programmable Logic Control). The Pro 1385-Plus retains panel mount digital timers and inputs and the front panel layout is similar to it’s little brother. However, the PLC upgrade includes several important features that enhance the performance and capabilities of the machine. Upgrade features include automatic dispense cycling for purging static mix and other rapid cure adhesive during short downtime periods. This upgrade also allows the user to fine tune end of stroke delay, end of cycle timing and delays. This feature is often very helpful when dispensing high viscosity epoxies commonly used on high power speakers.

Pro 1385-AAC
The ever-popular Pro 1385-AAC builds on the existing 1385 platform by adding Phase Automation's proprietary Active Air Control circuit. AAC delivers unprecedented repeatability of shot weights over thousands of cycles- even with smaller dispense shot weights. When properly setup in the recommended configuration, the Pro 1385-AAC will easily deliver 2.0 + Cpk numbers on a daily basis with 2.5+ Cpk being common with experienced users. While this does statistically minimize the chance of an under or over weight adhesive shot, the Active Air Control system takes the adhesive shot weight control to the next level. The Pro 1385-AAC has built in interlock feature that will sound an alarm or override machine operation of any of the critical control parameters are out of range. When properly set up, the Pro 1385-AAC will not allow your operators to dispense an underweight or overweight shot of adhesive. This feature is selectable via key switch on the front panel of the machine. Note: Pro 1385-AAC is our most popular single action turntable based adhesive machine for applications requiring high precision, circular adhesive beads.

Pro 1385-HMI
The Pro 1385-HMI was designed with the higher end facility in mind, this upgrade includes all of the mechanical features of the Pro 1385-AAC, but that is where the similarities end. The Pro 1385 HMI is fully PLC based and all user controls and features are accessed via the built in HMI (HMI = Human / Machine Interface; more commonly known as a touch screen). The standard HMI is a 5.7" hi-resolution, 16K color screen integrated into the main panel of the machine. User accessible control features via the HMI include dispense cycle time, turntable activation, turntable speed or degree of rotation, auto-purge as well as Active Air control. The HMI upgrade supports a number of data logging capabilities ranging from operator on shift, time of cycle, ambient conditions, adhesive shot weight, turntable speed, degree of rotation and many more depending on optional sensors and features that can be built in or added on at a later date. Ethernet connectivity, ANDON and other options available on request.

Pro 2385-S
The Pro 2385-S is a dual action adhesive dispense machine designed to handle 3" to 15" diameter speakers. The actuator stroke length on both the right and left carriages is 160mm. The machine comes standard with premium quality digital timers and controls for both channels as well as digital turntable speed control. The precision ground 316 stainless steel turntable is an accurate, repeatable mounting platform for your manufacturing jigs and fixtures. The Pro 2385 base is made from 20mm thick 6061 aluminum; fully CNC’d for precision and reliability. The turntable itself is driven by a high power frequent start motor via a Gilmer style belt and pulley system. This feature delivers rapid starts, consistent turntable speeds and reliable linear velocity at the adhesive beadline. Both actuator carriages ride on a pair of precision bearing shafts with four individual bearings for improved stability. All bearing shaft and slide bearing sets are premium quality for long life, but fully serviceable should the need arise. Dispense controls on the Pro 2385-S can operate in fully integrated mode – where both work together, or in fully discrete mode- where one or the other may operate in single action mode. The timing and electronic controls for both channels are fully digital and proven to deliver Cpk numbers above 2.3 when properly setup and used with a high quality dispense valve.

Pro 2385-Plus
The Pro 2385-Plus has all the construction features of the 2385-S, but steps up to digital control via PLC (Programmable Logic Control). The 2385-HMI can operate in dual channel mode, independent single channel mode or even as an integrated dual process platform. This offers unprecedented flexibility to manufacturers who need to process multiple adhesives after a pause or operator interaction followed by a different adhesive prior to cycle completion. A common example is the application of CA type adhesive followed by a part insertion, then completed with an activator sprayed on to enhance cross linking. The HMI upgrade supports a number of data logging capabilities ranging from operator on shift, time of cycle, ambient conditions, adhesive shot weight, turntable speed, degree of rotation and many more depending on optional sensors and features that can be built in or added on at a later date.
