Phase Automation announces new robotic platform

Phase Automation is pleased to announce the introduction of our newest scalable modular robotic system. The LS and SR series robotics are the result of over 2 years of research, design and development. The SR program was done 100% in house at Phase Automation, leveraging our design group for additional CAD support where necessary.

Modular in design, the LS series is available in a variety of configurations and option levels ranging from basic linear stages through multi-axis integrated robots. The entire SR series share the same mechanical core parts including precision guide ways, ball screws, couplers and carriages. The commonality of parts allows us to react quickly to incoming orders while still maintaining the premium quality levels we are proud of. Linear stages are being offered in the 150mm, 350mm and 650mm travel lengths. Applying the linear stages to integrated robotics results in a wide range of robotic capabilities. Standard models include 350mm X 350mm as well as 650mm X 650mm working range dual axis units in standard and enhanced operation packages. Within the 3 axis robotic packages, the 350mm X 350mm and 650mm X 650mm platforms are available with Z axis travel ranging from 150mm to 350mm. Our 4 axis platforms are truly state of the art and come in the same 350mm and 650mm module sizes but add a 4th axis wither on the Z or as a turn or tilt table option. All robotic platforms are full servo operation and available with option packages including integrated device controllers, Ethernet connectivity and full integration with large scale automation systems or simple stand alone operation.

All LS and SR platforms are available for customization. Servo options, length, carriage and many more options exist.
